Nasseruddin Shah’s ‘The Coffin Maker’, is all set for an Italian premiere. The film will be screened at the 13th River to River Florence Festival. It will be first screened at the Florence Fest that is scheduled to take place on 22 November 2013. There also has been recent hearsay that the movie will be broadcast in Rome between 29 Nov and 1 Dec 2013.

‘The Coffin Maker’ is a thought- provoking film which is put up against the authentic spirit and liveliness of a Goan Village. ‘The Coffin Maker’ is a very unusual tale about a Coffin Maker who discovers the mysteries of life from an out-of-the-way and mysterious source. The movie yet again puts light on the acting of the extraordinary Nasseruddin Shah. Along with Nasseruddin Shah, Randeep Hooda will also be seen contributing some extra ordinary acting to the film. The movie will be an endeavour of wits between the two actors. The movie also stars Ratna Pathak Shah as Nasseruddin’s catholic wife, Benjamin Gilani, Amit Sial, Mahabanoo Mody-Kotwal and Shilpa Shukla in other crucial roles.
It was super star Amitabh Bachchan who represented India last year at the River to River Florence Festival at Italy celebrating 100 years of cinema. This year, yet again another gem of our country will be representing us at an international platform. India is all set to get recognised globally.
